   Yes, it’s here, the day before weekend eve. Hoping this November day brings everyone lots of happy things, great food, and a dash (or maybe more) of vino!

On this Thursday I am reviewing the book, This charming book is not in my usual genre of reading and yet I fell in love with it,  its characters, its writing, and its alluring situations. Good job. Ms Silver!

Imagine seeing the man of your dreams through the window of a crowded bus in London. Your eyes meet and snap there is that electricity, that pull, that attraction that you have never had before. Now imagine that bus pulling away and he is gone and so are you. Gone into fantasies, dreams, and a year long search for this man of your dreams only to discover as you meet your best friend’s love of her life that he is your man. What will you do? Can you swallow that love at first sight desire or will it overwhelm not only you but the long established, much loved friendship, you have with your very best friend?

Laurie and Sarah are besties, they have been there for one another through the years. They are sisters from another mother, pledging undying love and affection because that is what they feel. When Jack enters both of their lives, a ten year story of the girls, Jack, and others take the reader through happiness, sadness, and the idea that both friendship and love are ever so valuable and when treated and nurtured they grow into something wonderful.

I most definitely recommend (bearing in mind that I am not into romance novels), this wonderfully authentic book. It brightened the hours that I spent reading its pages and made me once again believe in the beauty and power of requited love. Enjoy this one dear book friends.
